Follow the signs, drive through and pick up what you need!
We are a small church and found it difficult to man a weekly or bi-weekly scheduled food bank but wanted to provide for the needs of our community in this way. A member of the church designed and built the pantry and enlisted some junior high helpers to paint it. It currently is checked and restocked regularly by a high school teen volunteer. Church members and even local families, who attend the Awana youth program, have donated goods to keep it going.
Spread the word!
We do this to show God’s love in practical ways. Jesus’s ministry while on earth was rooted in the love for people and meeting them at their time of need. We pray this is a reminder that God is still at work today. He cares for our physical needs and even more so our spiritual needs. If you want to know more about what that means, please contact the pastor or join us for worship and small groups.
