We believe that there is power in prayer.  We believe there is greater power when many people are praying together for the same thing.

Marlboro has a dedicated prayer team made up of several church members that have agreed to make themselves available to pray whenever concerns are brought to the church’s attention.  Several times each month, someone in the church will have a need, a praise, or will know of one in our community and will contact a member of our prayer team.   Emails are sent and phone calls are made to all the other members through our “prayer chain”.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. -James 5:13-14
