Church and Sabbath School

This was a special church service held in the Fellowship Hall.

The Marlboro Seventh Day Baptist Church holds it’s weekly worship service at 10:00 am on Sabbath (Saturday) mornings. Our worship services typically include traditional and contemporary music, prayer time, an opportunity to fellowship with other believers, a sermon by our pastor, a children’s sermon, and more.

Children are welcome at our services.  It is wonderful to see the kids singing along, bowing their heads during prayer time, and cheerfully greeting others during Fellowship Time.  They often can be seen coloring the “Children’s Bulletin” or playing with their toys (or the church bag toys from the red bin under the coat rack). We offer childcare during the sermon for the younger children.  After the children’s message, the person in charge for that week heads down into Classroom #1.  Kids can go down with that person or they may be brought down anytime afterwards as well.

Junior High Sabbath School Class with Diane

Following the morning Worship Service, there is a brief time of refreshments with Sabbath School Classes to follow.  Sabbath School starts around 11:15am and lasts one hour until 12:15.  Each class uses a different curriculum and some teachers create their own Bible-based lessons.  Many of our lessons are provided from publishers such as Standard, Gospel Light, and Group.

We have classes for all ages including:

  • Preschool (age 2- 5)
  • Early Elementary (Kindergarten – grade 2)
  • Elementary (grade 3 & 4)
  • Middle School (grade 5 – grade8)
  • High School (grade 9 – grade 12)
  • Adults
