Announcements

Pastor Bob and Nelta will be away on vacation for a few more days.  Please pray especially for the Pastor while he is away, for safe travels, and that he returns refreshed and revived.  If you need assistance while the Pastor is away, please contact one of the Deacons (Randy Dickinson, Sharon Davis or Tom Davis).

Welcome to Conference President-elect Charlotte Chroniger.  Our thanks for sharing with us this morning.

There will be a special business meeting tomorrow, August 16, at 7pm to consider the Music Committee’s proposal to replace the church organ.

We continue to send cards/care packages to our older youth and young adults.  This is to remind them that we are thinking about and praying for them.  Cards have been signed Marlboro SDB Church Family during the quarantine.  If you wish to sign cards again, they will be in the vestibule.  We have 5 cards for September and October.  They all will accompany a care package and need your help!  There is a sign up card on the back bulletin board with suggested donation ideas.  Please continue to pray for Cheyenne Sibley, Lorian Rosborough, Sierra Sibley, Luke Green and Sarah Cruzan.  The first package needs to be mailed by September 8.  Thank you!

9th Annual Community Yard Sale Sunday, Sept. 6th 7:00-1:00

$10 a spot, additional $5 to use a table.  Spots will be marked with a 6 foot gap between sellers to allow for social distancing.  Please see Yvonne with questions or to sign up for a spot.
