Alpha begins today at 6:30pm!

AWANA Kids’ Clubs begins on Wednesday, September 25 from 6:00 – 7:30pm for ages 2 through
Grade 6. There is a need for teachers and substitute teachers, if you can volunteer the
time, see Sharon Davis, as soon as possible.

Youth Center for grades 3 – 8 will be held on the third Sabbath of the month starting October 19.
If interested in helping out, please see Kim.

A Back to School Picnic will be held next Sabbath day, September 21, 12pm – 3pm, with make your
own subs/sandwiches and make your own ice cream sundaes. Come out an enjoy a time of food and games.
There will be no Sabbath School that day.

Advisory Committee meeting September 24th at 7:00 pm.
At the last Business meeting, the Diaconate presented a proposal to add a section to the Church
Constitution regarding membership. A copy will be posted on the bulletin boards for review. See any
Deacon or the Pastor with questions. This will be discussed further at the next business meetings.

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS THIS WEEK:
It’s Back to School time! Pray for the students, teachers and parents as they prepare and return to
school this week.
Pray for those affected by Hurricane Dorian.
Andrea Jones, cut her leg.

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THOSE IN TREATMENT AND RECOVERING:
Chris Bond’s cousin, Sherry – may need liver transplant
Yvonne’s uncle Ken – heart issues
Holly’s mother-in-law -in an acute care facility for end of her days; recently moved to a facility closer to family.
Russell Merritt – congestive heart failure and leukemia; also prayer for his wife, Lida, who is taking care of him.
George’s mother, Barbara – congestive heart failure and anxiety
Michelle B.’s friend, Oren –back surgery
Dottie’s friend, Kathy – inoperable cancer.
