At the Business meeting, the Diaconate presented a proposal to add a section to the Church Constitution regarding membership. A copy
will be posted on the bulletin boards for review. See any Deacon or the Pastor with questions. This will be discussed further at the next business meetings.

8th Annual Community Yard Sale Sunday, September 1st, 7:30-1:30. Spots are $10, proceeds will go to Cornerstone Women’s Resource Center. Kids would like to do a bake sale again this year to help raise money. Donations of cookies or brownies would be very helpful. Please let Yvonne know if you would like to reserve a spot, donate baked items or have any questions.

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS THIS WEEK:
Barbara Froding – fell and is in the hospital, expected to be released later today.
Dottie’s friend, Kathy – having liver surgery on Wednesday, followed by a 1 – 2 weeks stay in the in the hospital
Barbara Andrews, fell and broke her leg.
Diane – having first knee replacement surgery on Tuesday.
Michelle B.’s friend, Oren – fell at work; having back surgery this week.

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THOSE IN TREATMENT AND RECOVERING:
Chris Bond’s cousin, Sherry – may need liver transplant
Yvonne’s uncle Ken – heart issues
Holly’s mother-in-law -in an acute care facility for end of her days.
Russell Merritt – congestive heart failure and leukemia; also prayer for his wife, Lida, who is taking care of him.
George’s mother, Barbara – congestive heart failure and anxiety

Micah and Melanie asked Jesus into their hearts.
