ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are planning to hold church, have our Sabbath school picnic and a
baptism service at Jersey Oaks camp on September 29th. In preparation
a baptism class will be held in the fellowship hall, Sabbath, August
5th at 7pm. If you would be interested in being baptized at this time
let pastor Bob know. If another time is better for you let him know
that also. If you are not sure yet, you are still welcome to come to
the class.

Evangelism Committee meeting following Sabbath School today! Please
feel free to stay and join the conversation even if you are not on
the committee!

The Christian Ed. Committee needs your prayers for wisdom and direction.
We plan on continuing the once a month Saturday evening Youth Center.
Last year, it was for just 3rd-6th graders, which aligns with the AWANA
Program. We have noticed that there are a good number of kids in 7th and
8th who could attend. The question is whether to add in those ages and if
so, what best way to adjust the activity and time slots and adult supervision
needs.

Evangelism Committee is looking for a place to hold the Alpha classes that
would allow for people to eat and watch the video sessions. (We could bring
in the AV equipment if necessary.) If you know someone who has their own
business that we could ask to use their facility on a Saturday evening in
mid-January to mid-March please let Joanna know.

Everyone is invited to buy or sell at our 7th Annual Community Yard Sale,
Sunday, September 2nd 7:30-1:30. Please see Yvonne if you would like to
reserve a spot for $10. *Also the kids are having a bake sale at the yard
sale. If you would like to donate any baked items please let Yvonne know
& drop off by 9/1.
