Vacation Bible School: Help Still Needed – Preschool assistants! We are
still in in need of two adults or older teenagers to help in the preschool
area. See Kim if you or someone you know is available.

This year as a collection for Vacation Bible School we will be helping out
families in need by sharing juice boxes and healthy snacks in a “snack bag”.
The collection will be all of May and June with the VBS kids packing the bags
on the last day of Bible school. Please see the insert for a suggested list of
items to donate. We are working with the Angels of God organization based in
Pitman. The Angels Snack Bag Program distributes snack bags to qualified families
when they visit the clothing closet or food pantry. Angels of God has also teamed
up with some local pantries/shelters where they will also share the snack bags.

Again it is time to fill baby bottles with your change, bills or a check. The
money goes to Cornerstone Women’s Resource Centers. Last year our church collected
$1481.03. Can we raise more this year? Cornerstone offers many services to young women
and their families. They offer medical services to those facing an unplanned pregnancy.
They even have a mobile unit that travels throughout Cumberland County to offer
Ultrasounds and other Prenatal Care.

Advisory committee will meet Tuesday night at 7pm. On top of our agenda will be a
discussion on the letter you received from pastor Bob last week and our involvement
in the SDB church planting proposal.
