Easter Sabbath March 31, 2018
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one
who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever
lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”–
John 11:25-26 – because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus
is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.– Romans 10:9

Thank all of you who participated in our church self-examination time
last Sunday. Everyone had a chance to express their ideas about what
and how we are doing now as a church. The discussion was very good and
Next Sabbath there will not be a worship service at the Marlboro Church,
as we join with Shiloh for joint communion.
On April 7 there will be a special Celebration of Life Service in memory
of Harry Hamilton at the Marlboro Seventh Day Baptist Church beginning at
2:00pm. All are welcome.
If you are able to help with the meal after the service for Harry Hamilton,
please see the sign up sheet on the vestibule. If you have any questions,
please see Joanne.
Put it on your calendar: Association will be at Shiloh this year, May 4, 5 & 6.
We will have services here at Marlboro that weekend as well and Rev. John Pethel,
Director of Church Development & Pastoral Services will be speaking.
Forms for registration and a schedule of events is on the table in the vestibule
if you plan to attend Association.
Don’t forget: Sabbath worship is from 10 to 11, fellowship time will be for 15
minutes following that and then Sabbath school for all ages after that. The
Sabbath school superintendent will ring a bell so everyone will be aware when
Sabbath School starts. We hope everyone can join us for all activities.
Wednesday evening Awana, which normally goes from 6:00 to 7:30 will be canceled
this week due to Easter.
Prayer time will be as usual at 8:00pm Wednesday night.
