Marlboro Bulletin 1-28-17

If you don’t take a Sabbath, something is wrong. You’re doing too much,
you’re being too much in charge. You’ve got to quit, one day a week, and
just watch what God is doing when you’re not doing anything.- Eugene H. Peterson

his wife Kathi. She had a procedure done on her liver this last week
and has been placed back into ICU do to concerns with her blood pressure.
He is unsure of the results of the procedure and tests, but it looks
like that she will be up there for several more days at the very least.
Please continue to pray for them both.

This year’s Vacation Bible School dates and curriculum have been picked.
Save the dates of June 26-30. We sill be using Concordia House’s “Mighty
Fortress”! There will be more details coming soon.

The pastor would like to meet with the adoption team as soon as
convenient for everyone. Let him know when is best for you if you are
on the team.

Missionary Hudson Taylor had complete trust in God’s faithfulness. In his
journal he wrote: Our heavenly Father is a very experienced One. He knows very well that
His children wake up with a good appetite every morning… He sustained
3 million Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years. We do not expect He
will send 3 million missionaries to China; but if He did, He would have
ample means to sustain them all… Depend on it, God’s work done in God’s
way will never lack God’s supply.
