Meditation: “Life without thankfulness is devoid of love and passion. Hope without thankfulness is lacking in fine perception. Faith without thankfulness lacks strength and fortitude. Every virtue divorced from thankfulness is maimed and limps along the spiritual road.” ― John Henry Jowett

All committees, it’s that time again, please set a time to meet and plan your budgets for 2013. Submit them as soon as you are able to the Finance Committee.

Advisory Committee will meet Tuesday, November 27 at 7 PM.

Sabbath Breakfast is next Sabbath on December 1st! Break out the family recipe favorites and bring a dish you had and enjoyed as a child. Was it something you were able to help make? Or was it Grandmom’s signature dish she could do without even looking at the recipe? Beverages, fruit, and table settings will be provided.

Everyone is invited to stay for a fellowship time down in the fellowship hall, immediately following our worship service.

At 11:15 there is Sabbath School Classes for all ages. There are two adult classes, one meets in the basement and one in the sanctuary. All other ages between kindergarten and adult meet in one of the class rooms. If you are new, ask anyone and they’ll get you to the right place.

Parents – If your child drops things, whispers too loud, or cries, they are just like our kids and are welcome in our worship service. However, if you would like a quiet place to retreat during the service, please feel free to use our nursery/preschool room (classroom #1 in the hallway of the fellowship hall).

A nursery is also available for children through pre-school age in classroom #1, after the children’s message. There is a speaker on the wall of classroom 1 so you can hear the service from there.

There is a baby changing station in the ladies room in the classroom hallway, if you need one.

During the children’s message, children from ages 2 to 10 will be invited forward for a short kid-friendly object lesson.
